In Mobile, Alabama, an attempted armed robbery at a Family Dollar ended when a legally armed Good Samaritan intervened, shooting the suspect, 18-year-old Adric White.
White, out on bond for a previous robbery, allegedly held store employees at gunpoint, demanding money. Witnesses say he ordered employees and customers to comply, unaware that an armed bystander was present.
The bystander fired, stopping the crime. Authorities confirmed White suffered gunshot wounds but survived.
