The young mother of 9 children, Karissa, has over 350k Instagram followers. Shaq chatted with family on Instagram. He visited the young family early this year.

His first visit was spent lovingly with the youngsters. Later, Karissa wrote, “He came in and played “Watch ya mouth” with the kids, loved on them, encouraged them, entertained them, took pics with them, gave them gifts, encouraged us as parents, and just showed us so much love.”

Even this beautiful contact was enough for the family, but the great athlete had another idea. He surprised the family with dinner months after the first meeting. Shaq surprised us last night. He took us to Babes Chicken for family dinner. It was great to sit out and eat dinner with him.”

Although this made the family pleased, the NBA player had other ideas. The next day, he took the family to Mercedes to order a custom 15-passenger van for mid-July delivery.
