This isn\u2019t the first big change in DeGeneres\u2019s life, as she recently also announced her\u00a0retirement from showbiz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The comedian and former talk show host, known for her 19-season run on\u00a0The Ellen DeGeneres Show<\/em>, announced that her\u00a0Netflix<\/a>\u00a0special, filmed on August 16, 2024, will be her last professional project.<\/p>\n

The announcement coincided with her 16th wedding anniversary to Portia de Rossi, a moment she described as \u2018lucky and special.\u2019<\/p>\n

And now, the family is set to depart the\u00a0US<\/a>\u00a0and move abroad.<\/p>\n
