The news of Shannen Doherty\u2019s passing caught the world by storm and left many mourning. The\u00a0Charmed\u00a0<\/em>star was 53 and battled cancer for the past seven years of her life.<\/p>\n

Before her tragic passing, she made a heartbreaking post online.<\/p>\n

During her battle with the disease,\u00a0Doherty<\/a>\u00a0often shared updates regarding her health condition. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 when she disclosed that she had \u2018invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node.\u2019<\/p>\n

After several surgeries and treatments, the\u00a090210<\/em>\u00a0star experienced remission after her initial cancer diagnosis, but the disease later returned.<\/h2>\n

In 2020, she shared the devastating news that she had been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer, a severe stage where the cancer spreads to various parts of the body.<\/p>\n

In 2023, Doherty confirmed that the cancer had metastasized to her brain and bones, resulting in surgery that removed \u2018almost all\u2019 of the brain tumor.<\/p>\n

In her final social media post, the actress shared a clip from the\u00a0Let\u2019s Be Clear<\/em>\u00a0podcast on her Instagram page.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, you know, for the first time in I have no idea how long, I\u2019m going to be on chemo for I have no idea if it\u2019s going to be, you know, three months or if its going to be six months or if we are going, you know, if after three months if it\u2019s not working if we\u2019re going to change again,\u201d he said in the clip.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike, I don\u2019t really, that\u2019s not something that I can predict. It\u2019s not something my doctors can predict and it\u2019s scary.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like a big wake up call at the same time I got to say that there is some positivity there and the positivity is that because my molecular structure of my cancer cells changed recently.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt means that there\u2019s a lot more protocols for me to try. So, you know, for the first time in a couple months probably I feel hopeful because there are so many more protocols now.\u201d<\/p>\n
