Television icon and host Chuck Woolery would be remembered as one of the most beloved TV figures of game shows.<\/p>\n

Woolery, knows as the first host of\u00a0Wheel of Fortune\u00a0<\/em>passed away aged 83 following an illness. The news was confirmed by his long-time friend Mark Young who posted on\u00a0X<\/em>, \u201cIt is with a broken heart that I tell you that my dear brother @chuckwoolery has just passed away. Life will not be the same without him, RIP brother.\u201d<\/p>\n

As reported by\u00a0TMZ<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>Young told the outlet that Woolery \u201csaid he wasn\u2019t feeling well and went to lie down.\u201d Later, Woolery returned and mentioned that \u201che was having trouble breathing.\u201d Young then claimed that 911 was called but \u201che didn\u2019t make it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Except for one of the most famous game shows,\u00a0Wheel of Fortune,\u00a0<\/em>Woolery also hosted\u00a0Love Connection<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Lingo<\/em>\u00a0among the rest.<\/p>\n

In later years, Woolery hosted the podcast\u00a0Blunt Force Truth<\/em>, a popular right-wing podcast. In it, the television icon shared his conservative views.<\/p>\n
