Carmen Bryan, 52, has spoken out about her nine-year affair with Jay-Z and reignited controversy over past allegations against him. On Instagram, she criticized fans for defending him, quoting Kanye West’s “Monster” lyrics. Jay-Z denies the allegations, calling them a “blackmail attempt.”
Carmen, who dated Jay-Z from 1995 to 2004, revealed she became pregnant during their affair but later miscarried. The relationship ended after Jay-Z’s track “Supa Ugly” detailed their intimacy, leading Carmen to lose respect for him. Her affair with Jay-Z also caused tension with her fiancé Nas, the father of her daughter Destiny. In her memoir It’s No Secret, Carmen shared the fallout and her confession to Nas about the affair.
