Following a heated Oval Office meeting between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the scheduled joint press conference was abruptly canceled. The confrontation reportedly escalated when Trump accused Zelenskyy of “gambling with World War III” and criticized him for a perceived lack of gratitude toward U.S. support. The meeting, initially intended to finalize a U.S.-Ukraine rare-earth minerals deal, ended without an agreement. Zelenskyy departed the White House without addressing the press.
