Despite his usual busy routine, Donald Trump is enjoying a particularly noteworthy Sunday.
The President caught everyone off guard by playing a round of golf with none other than Tiger Woods at Trump International in West Palm Beach, Florida, just before heading to the Super Bowl.
Later in the day, he plans to attend Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
Trump and Woods have grown closer over the years. During Trump’s first presidency term, in 2019, Tiger Woods was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Their shared passion for golf has brought them together on several occasions, and today is another chapter in their friendship.
Adding to his busy day, Trump will also be appearing in an interview with Bret Baier on Fox News Channel at 3:00 p.m. ET. Balancing politics and personal time isn’t an easy task, but this Sunday seems to blend business with leisure seamlessly.
Tiger Woods holds a special place in President Trump’s life. Just recently, Woods suffered the loss of his beloved mother, Kultida Woods.
Upon hearing the news, Trump extended his heartfelt sympathies to Tiger. His message reflected a deep and genuine care for his dear friend.
Trump expressed, “I recently discovered Kultida, Tiger Woods’ incredible mother, passed away. She has now moved on to greener fairways!”
He added, “Kultida was a significant influence on Tiger, providing him with the strength and wisdom he is known for. Melania and I send our prayers and heartfelt wishes to Tiger and his remarkable family.”
As for Woods’ attendance, it remains unclear whether he will join the festivities at the Super Bowl on Sunday night.
